EUREKA, Calif. — A protest was held today at the Granada rehabilitation center in Eureka, to urge a rise in wages for health care workers.
Many said at the protest, that their earnings aren’t enough to sustain a living on the North Coast, even showing proof that they’re making more than $1,000 under the cost of living.
