Trabajadora de manufacturas de una empresa de autopartes. Aquí en Piedras Negras tuvimos la oportunidad de tener una organización sindical independiente dentro de la empresa, pero la empresa a pesar de muchos movimientos que se hicieron por parte del gobierno mexicano y por parte del TEMER, nunca pudieron firmar nuestro contrato colectivo, se comprobaron en muchas ocasiones que la empresa tenía violaciones a los derechos de los trabajadores y ni aún así la empresa cerró sus puertas hace aproximadamente dos meses. Hay setenta trabajadores, setenta y dos compañeros para ser exactos que no han sido liquidados.

Entonces ahorita. Estamos esperando que el gobierno mexicano junto con el tema eque logran dar una respuesta a todos los trabajadores que están en espera de su indemnización. Como ya lo dije, todo esto se desvió a la organización que tuvimos dentro de alquiladoras para exigir que se respetaran los derechos. No me parece justo que esto esté pasando ahorita y que esa empresa se haya ido se le haya permitido irse cuando se comprobó cuando se comprobó en muchas ocasiones que estaba violando los derechos de libertad sindical de sus trabajadores.

Cuáles nos gustaría agregar que en este tema de manufacturas RE u. Aquí en Piedras Negras, todos los trabajadores y las trabajadoras que estuvieron involucrados en el movimiento sindical independiente, ahora forman parte de una lista negra y no pueden conseguir trabajo en ninguna otra fábrica. Estamos conscientes de que la lista negra tiene una duración de seis meses, así que por este periodo esas personas están imposibilitadas para ser contratadas en ALGÚN, otro centro de trabajo. Nada más por haber ejercido su derecho a la libertad sindical.

Bueno, nosotros empzamos a organizarnos hace dos años más o menos dentro de las instalaciones de BÚ. Cuando la empresa se da cuenta que hay una organización independiente dentro de la empresa. Ellos llevan a CTM para que CTM es un sindicato que está patronal que está aquí en la mayoría de las maquiladoras de piedras negras. Cuando ellos se dan cuenta que hay una organización independiente, la empresa lleva a CTM para que no lográramos organizarnos y tener un sindicato dentro de nuestra empresa. De ahí se derivan mucho hostigamiento hacia nosotros que ya sabía la empresa, quiénes éramos los delegados especiales que estábamos encabezando esa organización y se desató mucho hostigamiento para nosotros. Inclusive corrieron a una persona y más personas delegados. Estuvieron disciplinados por dos o tres semanas. Logramos entrar a la empresa.

En la primera queja que se hizo al teme. Con eso se logró se comprobó primeramente que sí hubo violación a los derechos de libertad sindical dentro de la empresa y eso nos da la oportunidad de entrar ya la empresa como delegados y llevar a cabo una elección dentro de la empresa.

Ahí en esa elección que fue el treinta y uno de agosto tuvimos una elección entre la CTM y la Liga Sindical Obrera que era el sindicato independiente que estamos representando los trabajadores, de ahí de la fábrica. En esa elección gana contundentemente la Liga Sindical Obrera Mexicana que es como ya lo dije anteriormente a un sindicato independiente, pero el hostigamiento se fue haciendo más duro hacia los trabajadores.

Hacia nosotros personas del Comité Verdad era prácticamente estábamos custodiados por decirlo así. No nos dejaban ni siquiera platicar con nuestros compañeros, porque no querían que nuestra organización se siguiera aumentando el número de trabajadores. Inclusive estuvimos mucho tiempo. Yo estuve mucho tiempo en convenio. Aquí la empresa manejaba el convenio, nos mandaba nuestras casas y nos daba solamente el cincuenta por ciento de sueldo, con tal de que no siguiéramos organizando dentro de la empresa.

Pero aú así como ya lo dije obtuvimos también nuestra constancia de representatividad ya que la mayoría de los trabajadores estaban dispuestos a dar una lucha a la empresa, pero a esto se une también el gobierno mexicano con CTM y la empresa Verdad que no querían que hubiera un sindicato independiente dentro de todo lo que es Piedras Negras porque para ello representaba una pérdida muy grande hacia CT M y hacia el gobierno mismo, ellos decían que querían la paz laboral dentro de Piedras Negras y que un sindicato independiente venía a desestabilizar la paz laboral. La reforma nos da la oportunidad.

De querer nosotros, sindicalizarnos libremente, pero hay cosas que no lo permiten. Entonces yo creo que en este foro es muy importante que tanto el gobierno mexicano como el gobierno de Estados Unidos tengan muy en cuenta en eso que hay libertad sindical, pero no la podemos ejercer porque el mismo gobierno local no nos lo permite. Fue una lucha bastante desigual, pero todos los trabajadores junto con el COMIT jamás nos vencimos.

no sé si hasta ahí tengan alguna duda, alguna pregunta, algo que quieran saber acerca de esta lucha. Como lo dije anteriormente, la lucha siguió hasta el día que la empresa decidió irse y abandonar la lucha, pero nosotros no. Nosotros los trabajadores aún, seguimos en la lucha y vamos a seguirlo. Entonces solo esperamos esa respuesta para mis compañeros que están en espera de su indemnización, como ya lo dije anteriormente. No sé si alguien tenga alguna duda para mí, con todo gusto.

We hope that governments unite so that what happened to us does not happen again, since all we wanted was for the maquiladoras to respect the rights of workers and there be better conditions for our families. Which we would like to add that in this topic of RE u manufacturing. Here in Piedras Negras, all the workers who were involved in the independent union movement are now part of a blacklist and cannot get work in any other factory. We are aware that the blacklist lasts six months, so during this period these people are unable to be hired in ANY, another workplace. Nothing more for having exercised their right to freedom of syndical.

Well, we started organizing ourselves two years ago or so within the BÚ facilities. When the company realizes that there is an independent organization within the company. They take CTM so that CTM is a union that is part of employers that is here in most of the black stone maquiladoras. When they realize that there is an independent organization, the company brings in CTM so that we do not manage to organize and have a union within our company. From there came a lot of harassment towards us that the company already knew, who we were the special delegates who were heading that organization and a lot of harassment was unleashed on us. They even fired one person and more delegates. They were disciplined for two or three weeks. We managed to enter the company.

In the first complaint that was made to the subject. With this, it was first verified that there was a violation of the rights of freedom of association within the company and that gives us the opportunity to enter the company as delegates and carry out an election within the company.

There, in that election that was on August 31, we had an election between the CTM and the Workers’ Union League, which was the independent union that the workers are representing, hence the factory. In that election, the Mexican Labor Union League, which is, as I said previously, an independent union, wins decisively, but the harassment became harsher towards the workers.

Towards us, people from the Truth Committee, we were practically guarded, so to speak. They didn’t even let us talk to our colleagues, because they didn’t want our organization to continue increasing the number of workers. We even stayed for a long time. I was in agreement for a long time. Here the company managed the agreement, sent us our houses and only gave us fifty percent of our salary, as long as we did not continue organizing within the company.

But still, as I already said, we also obtained our proof of representativeness since the majority of the workers were willing to give the company a fight, but this is also joined by the Mexican government with CTM and the Verdad company, who did not want there to be an independent union within all that is Piedras Negras because it represented a very big loss towards CT M and towards the government itself, they said that they wanted labor peace within Piedras Negras and that an independent union came to destabilize labor peace . The reform gives us the opportunity.

We want to unionize freely, but there are things that do not allow it. So I think that in this forum it is very important that both the Mexican government and the United States government take into account that there is freedom of association, but we cannot exercise it because the local government itself does not allow us to do so. It was a quite unequal fight, but all the workers together with the COMIT never defeated each other.

I don’t know if up to that point you have any doubts, any questions, anything you want to know about this fight. As I said before, the fight continued until the day the company decided to leave and abandon the fight, but not us. We workers are still in the fight and we are going to continue it.
