Voter Guide 2018

LIVING WAGE COALITION RELEASES VOTER GUIDE ON CANDIDATES FOR SAN FRANCISCO MAYOR

For the June 5, 2018, election, the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition issued a living wage voter guide on mayoral candidates. You can find it here https://livingwage-sf.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Living-Wage-voter-guide-2018.pdf

The Coalition mailed a questionnaire to each candidate regarding their positions on issues that impact low-wage workers.

By the deadline, 4 of the 8 candidates responded to these questions. You can find their responses here at this link: https://livingwage-sf.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Living-Wage-voter-guide-2018.pdf

The questionnaire tested the candidates on their support of improving and expanding San Francisco’s living wage laws, as well as job training programs for parents in the welfare-to-work transition.

The text of living wage laws (the Minimum Compensation Ordinance and the Health Care Accountability Ordinance) and other information is available at www.sfgov.org/olse

The Coalition is circulating the voter guide to its membership and also distributing it to the press and to the public.
