Harvest Party

October 27, 2013 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

Come and join us in making wine for Shoe Shine Wine // Justice Grace
Vineyards, who provides the wine we have at events. On Sunday, October 27.
Two shifts 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. We are arranging
carpooling from 2940 – 16th Street at 9 a.m. Let us know if you need a
ride or can provide rides.

We will have a picnic lunch from 12 to 1 p.m.

It will be fairly easy for folks — anyone who wants can help mix up the
fermenting grapes with their hands or a paddle, and, depending on how
another bin of grapes is doing, you might be doing something with a hose,
and it would be like watering a garden or something…

Wear something with short-sleeves (or something you can roll up) if you
want to help mix things up with your hands, and shoes that are best for
wet floors.

The winery is at 805 Camelia Street (between 5th and 6th streets), in
Berkeley. It’s an ivy covered building with an oak barrel over the front
door. It’s about a mile from the North Berkeley BART station (if the
strike has ended), and one street off from the Gilman Exit off I80

We also can pick up/ return folks from BART station. Call 415-509-9712

RSVP to let us know how many people to expect.
