When We Meet Print E-mail

We meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, at 2940 -16th Street, room 204 (between Mission St. and South Van Ness Ave.). Every one is welcome.

Who We Are Print E-mail

The Living Wage Coalition is a grassroots movement of low-wage workers and their allies fighting for economic justice. We have been struggling since 1998 to change political priorities so that government does not subsidize poverty wage employers. We are engaged in a radical rethinking of the economy that makes the goals of economic development a more prosperous, healthier and livable community.

What We Do Print E-mail

What We Do

We educate, organize and mobilize to demand that our tax dollars and use of public property do not go to businesses that pay poverty wages. We believe that everyone who works full time should be able to survive on what they earn, without relying on public assistance or charity to support their families.
