Internships at SFLWC

We are seeking student activists interested in making profound changes in the lives of working people in San Francisco. The SF Living Wage is part of a movement addressing the issues of social and economic injustice. Interns are needed in the following areas:

OUTREACH - visit work sites to inform workers of their rights to wages and benefits under San Francisco's laws and survey workers on their issues.

RESEARCH/WRITING - Research background information on economic justice issues, assist in writing outreach materials and newsletter, translating skills are much needed.

FUNDRAISING & EVENTS - Plan and execute fund-raising events per organizational needs.

WEB DESIGN - Maintain and update www.livingwage-sf.org on a regular basis. Hours are flexible flexible, mentoring, networking, and community service credit for classes/grad school. SFLWC Needs a Donated MAC

We need a Mac desktop computer for post production of video taken on a Canon AVC HD VIXIA HF 20HF 200A 1080i camcorder. The Mac should be an Intel based Mac Pro, or G4 or G5, with an Operating System being at least OS 10.4 also, having a dvd burner on hard drive would be helpful.
