Dedication of the Larry Lattimore Memorial Art Gallery

Larry Lattimore was Campaign Co-director of the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition from 2001 to 2008 and on the steering committee of People Organized to Win Employment Rights (POWER). He was homeless and worked for a General Assistance grant as a porter at SF General Hospital picking up dirty laundry. He played a leading role in winning amendments in 2008 to the Minimum Compensation Ordinance covering people working for public assistance in CalWorks or the County Adult Assistance Program.
