Economic Development Objectives
- Get Community Benefit Agreements with developers who are receiving city or redevelopment agency subsidies
- Require that everyone working on the project are paid at least the MCO rate if the prevailing rate does not apply and that future tenant businesses and subcontractors abide by the MCO requirements
- Require that those working on the project are provided health care coverage and that future tenant businesses and subcontractors abide by HCAO requirements
- Get inclusionary low-income housing and payment to a non-profit housing developer to build additional low-income housing off-site
- Require that the developer provide funding to an under-funded program, such as music or art, in the San Francisco Unified School District and to an after-school job training program
